Magic Reed features five Professional Oboe Reed models that are handmade from scratch. The are differentiated by cane strength/density, staple choices, and targeted functional outcomes. Cane is in the 10.5-11 cane diameter range and in medium to medium hard strengths.  Precision draws based on seasonal requirements. Reeds are described in relative terms to one another and are generally beefier than others on the  market. Balanced for response, tone and pitch for optimal musical expression.  Recommended for advanced students, adult amateurs and professionals with well developed production skills. Individual results may vary.
