My Marca Oboe Cane inventory is medium to medium hard in strength with thick walls and higher densities. It is my most recent cane investment and it is rare to find it in the USA. I am thrilled with the quality. It has a butter texture and is easy to work with. If you are an accomplished reed maker interested in achieving an extra dark tone color and a consistently superior results, this is the cane for you. It is tight fibered yet buttery all at the same time. It is offered in 10.5-11 (limited) diameters. Gouged on a Kunibert gouger- .585-.60 based on hardness and at reed maker discretion. Cane is flex tested for strength and inspected for hidden cracks and conformation before packaging. Standard and custom shape options. Sold in bundles of 10.
