Reed Monkey Professional Oboe Reeds are handmade from scratch. Designed for players seeking high end reeds with a round tone and less resistance than other brands offered here. I use Feng tube cane which has been professionally processed and sorted to achieve a strict high quality/medium strength standard. Apertures are somewhat larger than found in some pockets of the industry.  This is better for a nuanced scrape and reed longevity. They are best for advanced to professional players with at least 3 years experience  Those who prefer an easier ride and/or don't want to worry about possible post ship adjustment because of reed hardness will enjoy them the most.
