First Chair Oboe Reeds are handmade from scratch and designed for warmth, response and expression. They are made with Rouche M-MH cane. Fortunately, I purchased a long term supply of this rare and wonderful tube cane in 2019 because it is no longer available from the grower. Diameter is in the 10.5-11 range. Cane is processed in-house and is sorted, edited and curated for top quality. Apertures are right sized by grade. Paired with Chiarugi 47 mm 2+ staple (designed for Loree AK oboes) and is great for orchestral play.  Professional construction and nuanced American scrape. Intermediate and Professional models. Designed for players with at least 18 months experience up to the expert level. Individual results vary.
