Avignon Oboe Reeds are now under the Moon River Brand. They are handmade from scratch and 100% hand scraped. They are designed for players seeking dark, expressive reeds with a powerful projection. Alliaud is my oboe cane of choice with thick walls and higher density. Substitution of Marion with similar attributes is possible. 10.5-11 diameter cane is paired with a Chiarugi 2+ staple to promote a more moderate aperture.  Intermediate,  Professional,  Elite Professional and Custom models. Designed for players with at least 4-5 years experience.
